S.S.C. & H.S.C. Examination for the academic year 2018-2019 are finally over. Some people are enjoyimg their vacation by travelling the places, some are playing cricket till noon and then enjoying IPL in the evening and some S.S.C. students are already gearing up to go for Science faculty to crack Indian Institute of Technology’s Entrance and get admission over there for Engineering. If you are one of the third someone, here is the good news for you guys. Before you guys pack your bags and migrate to Kota, Rajasthan which is the coaching hub of India to prepare students for IIT for Entrance examination. The Viral Fever Media has just released the first episode of their much awaited Web Series “Kota Factory” which is Directed by Raghav Subbu and Created by Saurabh Khanna.
The story of this Web Series starts with a teenager boy from Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh who is very intelligent in studies and has scored extremely well in his 10th grade going to Kota with his father to join a well known coaching class to prepare for the entrance examination to get a seat at Indian Institute of Technology which is a very prestigious Institute in India for Aspiring Engineers.
The lead character Vaibhav doesn’t get the admission in this Coaching Class due to unavailability of seats. Unfortunately, he goes to some other coaching class where he somehow gets the admission but he is enrolled in a very last batch which according to the students over there is considered inferior. To get a shuffle from last batch to any Initial batch Vaibhav deals with tremendous Academic pressure along with his newly made friends in the hostel.
Veteran Actor Jitendra Kumar who himself has been a alumnus of IIT, Kharagpur is also playing a role of Physics teacher in this Web series with the character named “Jeetu Bhaiya”. As always, the actor has impressed the masses with his acting skills and has successfully got under the skin of the character. Anything told about him here would be less compared to the work he has done. Recently he had also made a cameo in TVF’s 2nd Installment of the Web Series called Tripling.
The entire show was is in Black & White theme by Jerin Paul which probably indicates the colorless lives of the students over there. There is also a line “Hum to yahan(Kota) tab se hain jab Kota Factory nahin ek Sheher hua karta tha” which truly indicates that Education disconnects the students over there from their family, friends and the real world. The passion is sucked out of these students and the coaches/teachers are highly paid with expectation to bring out the best from the students. This series also appreciates the Teachers & Engineering professionals who work hard to make things work smoothly for the masses like us with the help of innovation in technology.
So far only Episode 1 has gone live on the TVF’s Official Youtube channel. In this 1st episode itself, you will be amazed to see how this masterpiece is shot. 2nd Episode is expected to go live in this week. I can confidently tell about TVF whose the pioneer of making Web Series in India can never disappoint their viewers with their content. It was founded by IITian himself Arunabh Kumar with vision to change the viewer’s choice of watching the Indian Television Series to watching quality content on Web which is backed with logic and is conpletely unfiltered.
Who should watch this Web Series:
> Aspiring IITians.
> Parents who wish to Enrol their Kids into Engineering
> Everyone who thinks that conventional career of being a Teacher and Engineer who works a 9 to 5 job 5 days a week are boring people. [Every human being have their own story and struggle to tell. Every story doesn’t have to be about a guy who quits 9 to 5 job and pursue their dream of climbing mountains or becoming a nomad who works while travelling. This story appreciates the struggles and intelligence of all the beautiful technicians who are working on making human life more easy and fun.]
Please watch this series guys. Enjoy, have a good time and educate yourself regarding the misconceptions of Kota’s Coaching Classes being cruel and hard on students. You will be amazed and you may also come across some hard to believe facts.
If you are a former IITian who had been to Kota for studies and if you are an aspiring Engineer please share your thoughts and experiences regarding the same.
